Study of Reproductive Performance of Climbing Perch (Anabas Testudineus Bloch)

Climbing perch called Papuyu fish in South Kalimantan Indonesia caught swamp waters, is a that very popular with the community and has high economic value. Fish reproductive performance important to obtain information on natural conditions of status climbing form gonadal maturity level, fecundity. This research aims analyze based level maturity, index fecundity ( Anabas testudineus Bloch). The method used this study was descriptive quantitative. Starting from preparation tools materials, measurement parameters including gonadosomatic were observed morphologically analyzed descriptively. results study, performance, levels gonads ranged TKG II, III IV. 0.995-11.147%. are within range IKG values ​​of fish. Fecundity sample A 10,098-39,303 eggs an average 24,816 gonad weight 2.97g. Sample B 14,800-62,381 34,767 4.47g.
